Anyone using their rv generator to power race car trailer ???

Just curious to see if anyones doing something similar.
I am contemplating adding a receptacle for a 50A plug to my 7.5 Onan unit to power our trailer. I do realize that I can't run 2 AC units and etc. while powering the trailer but by using careful power management.

Pros/cons, pitfalls ???
Thanx,
Bob B.

You have 62 amps of 120 volt power to play with. You could run 3 13.5K Btu A/C units and have power left over. Don't forget that you have to balance the power use on each leg -i.e. don't try to pull 40 amps on one leg while the other is only pulling 20 or so.

I have run my grandson's racing gokart trailer with our 7.5 Kw Onan, plus the coach itself. The trailer has a small refrigerator, wheel treating heaters and rollers, etc. To ruinit, I plug it into the existing GFCI outlet in the outside compatrment. I know we don't pull over 20 amps, but have had no problems. I don't know how ,uch pwer you need, but if you can do it with the existing coach electrical system, the eMs can shed stuff if it needs to.
