This is a question for those who have a number of miles on their chassis. I have a Horizon with 43K. Since it is a bit of a hassle to remove everything to get a look at the pads I thought that I would ask you what kind of mileage you have gotten out of your pads. I am conservative when slowing and use the exhaust brake when approaching a stop and descending grades. For reference, I usually get 75K+ from my auto brake pads.

I can tell you that on my prior coach ('00 Journey) w/ 37kmi, the brake shoes were in excellent condition. They seem to last forever on these coaches.

Mine is an "oldie" so while I had the wheels off I replaced the front pads at 60,000, pads were fine that i removed but age was a concern (not sure it was necessary). Also did brake hoses.
Suprised you can't get a visual on your pads.
