With the amount of corrosion I see on that pedal assembly I wish you good luck getting the three bolts out. I'd spray the three bolts with penetrating fluid and let it sit for a couple days before attempting to turn those bolts. If you can access the bolts from under the floorboard you should spray the bolts from there also.

Just an update

First...Thanks for the help advice and suggestions.

I got rid of all the corrosion, sprayed wd40 and loosened all the bolts up ( 5 bolts on the plate) just in case you want to know. Push brake many times after also lubricating the plunger under the boot and seems all is working fantastic.

Now to replace the flooring...Well it was planned for a few months from now, looks like might be sooner

Thanks again for the help.

There are 6 bolts, the last one is under the pedal, and the pin may have to come out to get it.
3 bolts hold the treddle valve, under the floor, to the pedal plate and 3 hold the pedal plate to the floor.

I've done a few, working on highway trucks spreading sand and salt.Click image for larger version

Right you are Twinboat! It's been a few years since I changed a foot valve.....
And I don't miss it one bit.
Happy Glamping.

This pedal is rebuild able and is available new from most air brake shops... A good friend of ours, 3 generation BTW owns Power Brakes in Sacramento CA. They offer exceptional over the phone support and have parts in stock for shipment.... If you talk to either Kathy or Sandra tell them I said Hi....
They are my go to people when I need parts... Air dryer cartridges, air valves, most any part of the system... and they rebuild compressors, yours or have exchange units on the shelf...

Best of luck
