(I posted this on the Winne forum, and decided it really needs to be here)

I'm about ready to do the 1st oil change, and when I have it done I want to install either a valve, or removable tube drain so I can to the service myself next time. I think I like the removable tube idea more than an exposed valve. The tubing setup has a self closing valve when the tube is removed and a cap on the pan.

Has anyone done this (I think the name is something like Fumnto?), how do you like it, and what is the part# for the engine?

Also thinking about the same for the QuietDiesel 7.5 if anyone has that part# as well?

Thanks, Jeff

Jeff, I changed over to the Fumoto Drain Valve @ my first oil change and it works like a charm.

Part #: F-104 or F-104N (N denotes valve with the nipple & hose). I have the standard F-104 and it works good but can see the utility of ordering one with the nipple. Have not installed one on the genset so, no part #.

Company info: YM International Co.
www.fumotovalve.com
(425) 882-1539 or ?866-822-5639
Good Luck!!!

Really? I wonder what the difference is between the T-104 and the T-204? Guess I better call em.
It's not the end of the world for the generator, but if I'm gonna do the engine myself I need to shut the oil off whilst changing or draining pans.
Thanks!!

Don't think there is any difference between T-104 & T-204. I ordered from the web site above and the part # came off the origional packaging. The other web site may use a different Part # or the company may have changed the numbers during the last 18 months. At any rate, give them a call to be sure that you get the correct part. Good Luck!!
