I have found the problem is not dust, dirt and oil on the roads but rather service "technicians" that can read (I have it painted in big letters right by the fill tube) and follow instructions (I tell them every time) "19 Quarts ONLY". Rather they pump until it reads (on the WRONG) side of the dipstick Full. I had my dipstick recalibrate but I have even been charged for 32 quarts once. You can imagine the results. They would have been happy to drain and refill at $120/hr. labor rate.

I can't answer your question re: the diff, but I can tell you that I had the same problem with my rear mudflap. I removed the mudflap, trimmed 3" off the top and re-installed it. Problem solved.

I have the UltraGuard flap. You didn't say what type you have, so I'm not sure if this will work with your's or not.

Where do you find the Pro HD purple stuff? All I've ever been able to buy is the regular Simple Green, whether at Wal Mart, Lowes, etc.

Darn, we don't have a Home Depot, I'll have to check the Internet and see which cities closest may have one.
Thanks.

Yep, Home Depot is the only retailer I know of that sells it.
