Hi Folks: While cleaning the Rad/CAC the other day, I noticed that the engine side of the CAC seems to have a uniform "caulk" material installed over every other finned section of the unit. This is true over the entire surface of the CAC. I checked with FL and they did not have an answer.

It seems that if you block off 1/2 of the total surface area of the CAC, you have effectively blocked off 1/2 of the available air flow through the CAC and ALSO through the RAD! We (the FL owners) already have a long history of overheating when pulling near our total weight.

Anyone else observed this condition OR has an answer as to what I observed?? THANKS!
