Camp Freightliner and pets

What do you do with your pets while the coach is being serviced?

I'll be at CF I in July and CF II in January.

Pardon me, but according to Freightliner the Camp is not a hands-on class. You'll be in a classroom style setting. Your coach will not be in the shop.

I believe we could be having a communications mixup here. Many attendees at Camp Freightliner also schedule work to be done on their MH while they are in class. If this is the case, the OP has a valid question about his pets.

Got it. Makes sense. Thanks for the clarification.

We had service there 2 weeks ago. We took the 2 dogs and 2 cats to a boarding place about 25 min away in Spartanburg. Website: Woodpoint Bed & Biscuit - * $10/animal just for boarding. Very nice place.

You can leave them in crates in the rig if they are used to that. You can also have them on a leash in the waiting area.

Thanks for this.

Yes I am getting service done.

We have a small dog and cat. We don't have a crate as such but do have a carry bag for the cat.

We also have used Woodpoint Bed & Biscuit. They have very good facilities, and plenty of friendly and knowledgeable staff. We will use them again when we go for our annual maintenance next year.

The times we have been there, we were in and out in 5-6 hours. We and others had our pets in the waiting area.

But Camp Freightliner goes from 8 until 4 or 5 with short breaks for 2 days. On the day you're not being serviced you can just go out to your rig in the parking lot and exercise them. The service day you'll have to board them.

On the other visit my service was the M3 level and it took all day...right to closing but I'll agree that if you're just having service (and not CF) you could keep them there and avoid the trip to get them.

I was in Camp Freightliner 3 years ago and 2 couples brought their pets into the classroom for both days.

Hadn't thought of that probably because my 100# Lab is not well behaved at times. He would have tried to eat the lunches and dinner Mike is a dog person so I can see that he would probably be ok with that.
