On my C7 CAT I have discovered leaves and debris between the radiator and charge air cooler. As much time as I have spent on using Simple Green and making sure the radiator was clean, I became suspicious when I ran a tie wrap between fins and heard the crunching sounds of the debris. Anyone have this problem and how did you remedy it?

That certainly sounds like a problem. I have not heard of folks having leaves or stuff other than road grime get between the rad and intercooler. If you have cleaned it as best as you can with Simple Green and it doesn't run hot, I think I would leave it alone. Otherwise, you may have to pull the radiator to get to it.

Hi Ken and Paulette,
The only additional cleaning one can do is with compressed air. If you have that capability, try it and see if additional debris is removed. Other than that, smlranger's post is what I would do.
