I would describe it differently. Comfort drive is an intelligent computerized steering power assist device. One of its functions is to reduce the effort required to turn the steering wheel, the other is to memorize the steering wheel position if it is held off center steadily for about 30 seconds. The amount of assist while the coach is in motion depends on the setting of the "knob", which is an input device to the computer. At standstill the assist is maximum, regardless of the knobs setting. At speed the assist increases as the wheel turns off center. At the setting of 10 the assist is the lowest, at 1 it is the highest.
