Diagnostic Port Location

Thinking about getting a VMSpc but can't find the diagnostic port. I found a 4 pin under the dash and a 7 pin in back where you check the oil, both ports are black with a gray cover. Does anyone know where or if there is the correct port under the dash.

I just installed mine and it was hard to miss... right next to the steering column above the pedals.

Different coach makers put them in different places. My forward one is in an electrical one, under the driver's seat.

If you haven't seen one before, you may be looking right at yours. Typically, they have a screw on cap over the pins. You unscrew the cap and find where to plug in the VMSpc cable. That is exactly what happened to me.

If you need a picture of what one looks like, let me know.

Found it, it is a 9 pin plug with only 4 wires. I called Freightliner they said 4 wires is all that is needed.

thanks
