I am a newbee and searched for this but couldn't find any info. Does anyone have one of the newer square exhaust tips on their MH that has discolored (kind of rusty looking)? Our new RED has a very ugly one and I think I heard somewhere that FTL has a fix for this. Any help would be appreciated.

I believe that stainless steel tips tend to change their color after getting hot. Chrome seem to keep their shine if polish regularly.

According to Mike Cody at Camp Freightliner, the first editions of those exhaust tips had a faulty coating that caused the discoloration. Call Freightliner support and talk to them as sometimes they will provide a free replacement.

If not, get yourself a "Mothers Powerball" and a Mothers aluminum polish. Put the powerball in your cordless drill and apply some polish. About a beer later, it's shiny and new......
