Just a note to everyone with a Cat-C7. Yesterday I was installing a fire system from Fire Fight in the engine compartment. My neighbor was helping me. He happen to notice what appeared to be an exhaust leak at the connection of the flexible exhaust pipe and the turbo charger. Upon closer inspection we found that the clamp had never been installed correctly. It was only holding the bottom flange together leaving about a 1/6" gap at the top.
This was from the factory. We had to loosen the flexible section and rotate it it about 40 degrees in order to line it up with the turbo and reinstall the clamp. Something everyone should check.
Bill
