FL, clearing codes from LBCU

Is it possible to clear codes {MIL} from the dash LBCU without taking the coach into a FL dealer?

I don’t believe so. I had a MIL code and found no way to reset it, however in my situation I corrected the underlying fault and after a few drive cycles the MIL went off.

In most automotive systems a total power off -disconnect batteries from ECM- will force a reset. Maybe turning off the chassis battery disconnect for a while? Costs nothing to try.

So, you must have a Cummins, the only time a code will show, is when it is a Active Code.

Turning the ignition key off will clear it, however, if it is still Active, then it will come back on.

The LBCU will not show stored codes.

This is why it is important to get the code Prior to Turning off the Ignition.
