Hello all, New to your forum stumbled across it on a Google search. Please forgive my mistakes in advance. My family purchased a used 1999 Freightliner FL 60 a couple months ago. We love it.
Anyways I am in need of an fl 60 coolant overflow reservoir. Does anyone know a link where I can get one. I have done a ton of searches and can't figure it out.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank's Gina

Are you trying to avoid buying from a Freightliner dealer? I get lots of hits if I Google for Freightliner parts, but most are authorized dealers.

Many parts are available through truck stop service stations and even NAPA stores. A lot of the parts are common to many truck and RV chassis, so are widely available. Perhaps not your coolant reservoir, though.

Are you aware that you can buy parts directly from Freightliner in Gaffney? They will direct ship parts to you. I have found that they are VERY competitive on price and VERY helpful.

Here is a link to the web page for their contact information:

Try 864-206-8613. That will take you straight to the front desk at the Service Center in Gaffney bypassing the routing switchboard. Pat will probably answer the phone. She is a big, big help. Suggest you have you chassis serial number (the last 6 digits of your VIN) ready when you call.

I wanted to thank all of you for the help. I called Freighliner in Gaffney. They were very helpfull, gave me a part number and the phone number for my San Diego Freightliner. Duhhh I guess I could have called there first. That would have been way to easy.
Anyways, we got the part we needed it was in stock and only cost $85 bucks.
Thanks again, gina
