Does anyone know if the brake lines are metric or standard? I have purchased a brakemaster supplemental brake system and may need a special fitting if they're metric. Anyone know?

Call the Freightliner Help Desk (800-385-4357). Have the last 6 digits of your VIN# ready and they can answer your question.

You can find this information by accessing the call out on the FRED blue prints and parts catalogs. All one has to do is login to "Access Freightliner" and these issues should not be difficult to deal with. All the information I expect is right there. If you do call 800-FTL-HELP, I expect that they are going to use the same resource that you would use to get the answer.

You have to login and register your product. Once that's done a password will be returned within a short period of time. After you've received the PW you can use all the Access Freightliner resources. This is what I learned in my school! "Camp Freightliner"

Thanks for the info. Driver, I looked at Access Freightliner and only saw where dealers could sign in and get registered. I suspect I'm doing something wrong, obviously. Could you send me the link to where you're referring?

OK, I'm working on it. I just sent a message to Mike Cody and he'll get us on the right track.

Please send me an eMail to mpelchat@irv2.com and I'll send you a PDF which details the registration process. I can't upload it here it's just a tad too big.
