Attention Freightliner Owners.

I hope that some of you will pick up on this but the schedule for the 1st or Inaugural Freightliner Chat has been changed to "This" coming Thursday, March 4th at 17:00Hrs or 5:00PM Eastern!

The people that are needed to be available in the chat are going to be out of the office it appears for the 15th so they have requested this change.

I know we're going to be rushed to get this done between now and Thursday but let's give it a try!

That's 4:00 PM central time. I won't be able to attend that early.

The 5 pm time is going to be tough for anybody who is has a jobg. Or for people on the left coast.

I was sitting here watching the clock and at 5 p.m. promptly I logged into the chat room. After about 5 minutes I had some one join me. We chatted for about 15-20 minutes and then it dawned on me, 5 p.m. EASTERN and I'm on Central Time. So I missed it and I had a technical question for Freightliner. It went something like this:

"My dash air has been giving me a problem. after about 80-100 miles, or 1-1/2 to 2 hours, the temperature coming from the dash vents will start to rise. I found that if I turn the AC off for about 15-20 minutes and then turn it back on, it will blow cold for a while, then start to rise again. I have had this into the Freightliner Service Center in Houston, and although they said they could find nothing wrong, it continues to happen. I don't think they can simulate what I have been experiencing.

I can duplicate this time and time again on a trip.

Help"

See y'all next week.

I appreciate the problems the Freightliner folks have, but, I won't be able to make a 4 PM CT chat. I believe that will be the case for a lot of us not retired yet folks. Was really looking forward to participating - guess it's not to be.

This was discussed and the Freightliners reps said they would try to be more accommodating on the time.. Hopefully next month will be later in the evening. It was interesting...
.................................................. .
Of course, everyone at the first session will get a Freightliner Cap and Jacket, and their personal FHU RV site at Gaffney, sorry youse missed it!

Note: Nothing below the dotted line is true. but it was a good session.

I forgot last time, and I'm afraid I will probably forget this time too. It's just way to early.

PS: I enjoyed my service at Gaffney the other week, FCCC came to the plate and helped me out with an out of warranty item. The coach never ran so sweet as it did when I left for home, and about a 1/2 mpg increase with the valve adjustment Thanks FCCC, a 1st rate chassis for sure.

PSS: I want my Jacket and Cap

I understand that this might be the last 5:00 PM session, if all goes well and if the moderator feels comfortable with the chat room and the folks that are participating.

I hope that we can begin the Chat at 9:00PM so stay tuned. This way so many more folks will be able to join in.

On the Workhorse Chat we have folks from California logging in at 10:00PM EST just as were finishing up but I'll stick around for a few more minutes and chat. I have not been a person that punches a clock here.
