Freightliner Chat Was Tonight

I just spent an hour on the Freightliner Chat Room. I was the only participant and had the undivided attention of 2 knowledgeable , helpful, and user-friendly Freightliner employees. Anybody that owns a coach on a Freightliner Chassis with questions that he or she would like help with should participate if they can. It does not get any better than this.

I will be on my way home from the National Rally at Bethpage next month but in the future I will plan on posting a reminder in the morning of the Chat. Please respond to this post if it would be helpful to have a reminder posted. I would like to know your thoughts.

At the top of this page is a blue bar and 2nd from right is a white titled link called Chat Room. Click on that and a drop down menu will appear. Click on "Enter Chat Room (float)". You will get into the Chat Room. On the bottom bar 3rd from right you will see 2 windows, 1 partly covering the other. Click on that and you will be in the Chat Room in float mode. You will be in the Chat Room Lobby. Click on rooms and a drop menu will appear with the available rooms. Double Click on Freightliner and you should transfer from the lobby to Freightliner Chat Room. Click on Users and you will see a list of participants. Good luck and please tell the Freightliner folks I am on the road. I promised I would be there next month and forgot about the iRV2 national Rally.

I plan on starting a new thread each month that is titled "Freightliner Chat Reminder". In the message box I will list the time and may be a little verbiage.

Second month in a row I've missed this...dang it! I've participated in two and always came away with some good information and Lord knows, I need good information. Thanks Don for doing this for us.

Yes, I always hate the morning after. After I forgot the chat, that is.

A reminder in Big Bold Type would be perfect.

I just got back from Camp Freightliner in July and have a question or two that really doesn't justify taking their time on the help line. Mike and the other guys preached over and over to call 1-800-385-4357 or 1-800-FTL-HELP, but I'm sure people with greater needs than mine could use that open line.

Let's fill up the chat room next month!

I plan on just posting a reminder here in the Freightliner Forum. I have a challenge next month because I plan on attending the iRV2 National rally in Bethpage. I will be traveling on the way home so I will not be able to participate. I will try and post a reminder the night before while we are parked assuming we have connection on our air card.
