Freightliner Hydraulic cooling fan (side rad)

The cooling fan on my ‘08 Bus runs on high speed all the time. Appears to be a fault in the Parker DFC-5 fan control module. Has anyone experienced this problem and do you know if there is an update available. I am getting conflicting information from FLT.

Perhaps your fan control unit is different than in my 06 bus. Mine has a Sauer Danfoss fan controller. Here is a link to a previous discussion. My fan also defaulted to high speed fan when it quit working. If yours is different (parker DFC-5), then please ignore this post and link.

My fan runs only when the eng temp gets to about 222 or I turn on the dash air. Also, it only has one speed...."100%" according to the Silverleaf.
