Considering having a 30,000 mile service done at Freightliner of Utah. I've never used their service before and would appreciate any input from you. Anyone used them? How was the service? Cost? etc.

I used them last July. I had overheat problems. I went in without appointment early AM. They did not get to me until late afternoon. They worked all night, pulled and cleaned both radiators. Not many parts but guess at least 10 hours labor and bill was just over $1000. So far no more overheat problems. They also extended my slobber tube which I should have had done years before.

They have nice lounge, snack bar and Wi-Fi. Nice place to spend night if have to.

I was very satisfied with them.

Let us know how it goes. I need to get the M-3 service again. I will be in Salt Lake City area in July or August for a week or two. That may be a good time to get the service done.

Freightliner Utah is my local shop. I had a bad experience with them last year. Customer service was inadequate. Communication was inadequate. Repair work--they weren't able to fix what was broken. I won't use them again for anything that is somewhat unknown or diagnostic.

On the other hand, if it was fairly straightforward maintenance work, they would probably do fine.

I just had an M3 done in Gaffney when I was there for Camp FL. I believe the 72 month will be replacing the M3. Can't remember what is the equivalent to the M2. Have FL of Utah contact the factory to help get you over to the new schedule.
