Here's some pics of the vinal UV Shields in place. Used plastic wire ties and 1/4 -20 nylon bolts to hold the shields in place

Thanks all
I replaced my tank today. Made much easier by your postings. Just cut the tabs to make removal go quicker. The nuts and bolts were all badly rusted. Went to Fastenal and got nut clips and installation was easier. Got tank from company in French Camp, they don't take credit cards over the phone anymore. Again thanks all, you made the job go much easier.

Y'all helped me with the confidence to replace my surge tank.
I went to Freightliner, and at first they sold me the wrong plastic tank.
It wouldn't align with the mounting bracket.
I went back and got the correct one, in metal.
Had to reverse the bracket, and re-locate water in fuel separator indicator, though.
Pretty easy job. Saved about $500 in labor so they said.
