What I heard is the Mercedes engines have a software problem in trying to meet '07 emmissions. Apparently none have been delivered to FL since the first of the year. So FL is using Cummins ISC 360 to replace it in production. Maybe this is now a permanent change.
Maybe FL should have stuck with CAT after all.

I was at the Freightliner Factory last week. You should see all of the Fleetwood Excursions and Providences that are there to have their Mercedes engines removed to be replaced with Cummins. We saw at least 35 MH's in the parking lot.

Ouch! There is a long thread on RV.net about this issue. I can't imagine how they will do the engine swap.

So I guess this means FCCC is now all Cummins?
I wish they'd bring CAT back.

Well as of July 1 we had a conference call with Gulfstream Rep Adam Smith and Freightliner as per coach I have which is a TourMaster with a Mercedes MBE926 1000 torque Serial 0906602201. This is want was explained and will be annouce in the future, since alot of other posting is mainly rumors and there is no repower as some called. 2007 coaches on a 2006 chassis are not involve with 07 EPA the newer coaches 2008 on a 2007 chassis will be EPA with a software upgrade no engine replacement no matter if there is 35 coaches sitting in the parking lot
