Field Service Campaign SF332AB to modify specific Freightliner Custom XC Chassis manufactured with TRW AS120 suspensions 12,000 lb. front axles built between April 4, 2005, and October 13, 2005.

Certain vehicles may have been manufactured with tie rods too short for the front axle crossbar taper.

The tie rod will be inspected and replaced if necessary, and a toe-in alignment proceedure will also be performed.

This Field Service Campaign will terminate on July 31, 2007. Any repairs after that date will be at the owners expense.

If your chassis was built within this time period stated above and you haven't recieved notification from Freightliner for some unknown reason. Give them a call at (800) FTL-HELP during business hours or (800) STL-HELP after business hours. Have your serial nimber available when you talk to the rep. So that he or she can verify if your chassis is involved.

Hope this INFO helps someone.
