Started up this morning..... No tail lights or REAR marker lights on the coach. No tail or marker lights on the trailer.

Headlights, FRONT marker lights and ALL STOP/TURN lights working. (Coach and trailer).

Got on the road and no dash AC. Heard the cooling fan under the floor.

Stopped for gas and started it up again. EVERYTHING worked.

Based on all the posts above it smells like the rear power module.

My Chassis # does NOT list the recall in DTNA.

HMMMMM.....

Attached the cover of the rear power module.

OK, made the phone call.

So... the recall is not out there yet, there's an interim recall notice, (shown above) and FL informs me that my chassis is indeed subject to said recall, the letter is probably in the mail at home.

The interim part means there's no fix at this time.

So, I can probably have the module replaced under warrantee, but there's a distinct possibility that they're going to stick a new module in there that will also be subject to recall.....

Very nice call with FL 24/7 last night, followed by call from nice and knowledgeable tech at 07:31 am.

Agreed rear power control module needs replacing.

After some discussion agreed to FEDEX me another one here at campground.

Take me an hour or so to put that in and with a little luck we'll be motoring home on Sunday with zero interruption.....

I'll take pictures.

In my hands in 24 hours, installed in one. Happy camper.

My coach is at a FL service center getting the brake caliper recall done. Apparently mine were bad being they are waiting on parts. It would be nice if this recall would pop up on their computer while the coach is there.

I have the same issue. Waiting a month to get into service center. Will try the 24/7 number.

Releasing 5-16-19

I had made an inquiry to DTNA regarding interim recall FL788. I was informed that the second letter to owners and instructions to dealers are being released sometime on Thursday May 16.
So, as I'm told, the dealers should have what they need for addressing this recall. If parts are required, they would need to be ordered. VIN searches for recalls should then reveal impacted vehicles.

Brake lights

Our brake lights on the left side failed, the dash a/c went out, so I suspected the PDM. With the help of Freightliner having me check all fuses, turned out that was the problem. Freightliner is preparing the recall, but if you are experiencing the issue, they said they would fix it.

They repaired it with the new part.

Freightliner shipped the part to the repair facility, they replaced it, and we are back on the road.

Fake News...As of 5-17 @ 1430 hrs EDT, still nothing. Dang-it, I don't like receiving lies.

VIN lookup shows the recall now

Go here to check your VIN for recall:

https://dtna-dlrinfo.prd.freightline...tVinLookupPage

The recall is now listed.

Just got the "B" version of the recall today that we were expecting when parts were available. It was for our previous Discovery. The website didn't list my Tiffin VIN so I called Freightliner. They show my VIN.
They said they first test the module by putting a load on it. It may not have to be replaced if it passes the test.
So far everything has been working but we're leaving for a trip next Saturday. I guess I'll try to get in this week. There's one service center in Jacksonville that is first come first served and another in Lake City that will do an appointment.
I guess I'll make some calls Monday to see if they have the parts available in case my PDM needs to be replaced.
Not sure if I want to start the trip in this heat with this looming issue.

Great info and pics on your blog.
I'll try to get in early in the week but, worst case, call Freightliner and see if they'll send the part so I can replace the module myself.
Best case, my module isn't bad and all works good for the whole trip.
Thanks again for the detailed post on the R&R process.
