Today, when starting out, my dash gauges started flickering (needles jumping & the 'low fuel' light would flash). This lasted less than a second and then 13 seconds later it would do it again. I'm going to check the dash grounds on Friday. Anything else I should check?

I've seen posts on this before but none with the flickering occurring with regularity (every 13 seconds). That has me confused??? Might be a clue as where to check?

Thanks
DICK

If ground checks out okay, look at replacing the ignition switch.

All the gauges on my 99 DSDP, are multi-plexed, ( fed off one wire signal ) the main controller for the gauges is in the engine bay ( has 2 air lines and about 16 wires on a single plug) . So you may have a wiring ground issue in the engine bay also.
Freightliner help line 1-800-385-4357 , also www.freightlinerchassis.com or
www.accessfreightliner.com serial # required, join up for free access to wiring diagrams and other info, once you've signed up and get a pass word ; this can take up to 2 weeks ,call back to the help line and get the code to get the wiring scematics, for your coach.
