Haldex air system

So this is interesting a while back i changed the filter on the Haldex system like i do every time i went to Stoops freightliner got the filter it is spin on well at least i thought it was. When i opened the box there was a big black filter. Spun the old one off put new one on went on.

Never had any issues until recently the air system seemed to be getting slower than normal to fill up, so again i went there get the same kit however this time there is more in the box big black filter and a catridge with o-ring.

So apparently what i got the first time was not complete. Now the system works like never before .

So crazy but i will be asking what is suppose to come in a kit before i walk out the door.

Join DTNAconnect.com That way you can use parts pro to look at what parts you need. Its a pretty amazing tool allowing you to see every part that came with your FTL chassis. It even has the chassis wiring diagrams in there. -Bill

Well boyland,
Based on your sig, you have an '02 Journey, correct? And if so, I'd just about bet the farm that the kit you need for your air dryer is the DG6026. And if that's the case, here's what supposed to come in that kit:
