Handling and suspension upgrades complete
When I purchased my 2018 33AA I anticipated the need to possibly put some money in the suspension. When I first drove it I was actually afraid to go over 55 mph. I added the Safe-T-Plus steering dampener and the motion control units from Super Steer. These helped but not enough for my liking. Since I was planning a trip out west this past summer I decided to drive down to Grants Pass to see the people at Henderson's Line Up. This was easily one of the best decisions I have made. These guys are prompt, professional and best of all know what they are doing. After a test drive with the technician, they told me what else I needed to add and gave me the price. My coach now drives like I had hoped it would when I bought it. Items added in addition to the steering dampener and motion control units include Koni shocks, and a beefier sway bar and new bell housing. All in all it was not cheap, but based on the original investment in the coach it was definitely worth it. The Henderson folks got me in and out in 6 hours and I cannot recommend then highly enough.

A new bell-housing??? I never knew a bell-housing affected handling, especially in a 2018 model still under warranty. I think I'd call Allegro and get some questions answered.
One thing not addressed was tire pressures, which do affect handling.

Wow,
Something's amiss here. A 2018 coach that doesn't handle very well or, handles so bad that a bunch of money needs to be thrown at it just to make it go down the road, wow. I'm not being sarcastic or, in any way condescending but, it sure seems odd to me that paying as much as you did for a 2018 coach, only to launch quite a bit of money at it for handling issues, well, not sure what's the correct way to proceed here. May I ask, just what kinds of issues were you having before you invested more money?

Assuming bell crank.
Not bell housing.

Yes, bell crank and not bell housing. I actually do know the difference.
Also the air pressure had been addressed earlier but they dropped it another 5 lbs.

The coach over steered very badly, when I hit any kind of undulation in the road it would bounce and if this happened while I was going around a curve it was quite scary. There was way too much play in the steering. When I stopped, the front end of the coach dove down maybe 5 to 6 inches.
The problem with the Allegro Red 33AA is that it is a very short wheelbase for the size of coach. This makes for great maneuverability but can create some handling problems on the road.
I will be the first to admit that this is my first class A and there is a decent chance that some of my trepidation had to do with the unfamiliarity and lack of experience with this type of vehicle.
I expected to lay out some money when I bought it having read several reviews. In the end I am happy with how it handles now and that is what is important to me.

My 2018 RED 33aa seemed to oversteer and be a little loose in the steering. I was getting used to it, though. We stopped in Red Bay and I went over to Bay Diesel to have a couple of recalls done on the chassis. I asked him to check air pressure, please. He asked if I had weighed the coach, and I gave him the sheet from a Cat scale I had done a few weeks earlier. He then asked about how much fuel & water I tend to carry. Based on the chart, he dropped the pressure 5lbs each in the front, 10lbs each in the back. He showed me the chart, and we went with the Cat scale weight plus one point up on the chart for safety. Darned if it didn't fix the steering issues! Steering was a LOT tighter, and the oversteer problem was lessened dramatically as a result. I think we were just over inflated for the weight we tend to carry.
