Its a 1999 Winne ISB 5.9 Cummins. Anyone know how hard it is to replace or what it cost to have it done.
It is Freightliner.rear radiator.

Thanks Don and Barb

I don't know the cost of replacing the head gasket, but I would also like to know since I have a 2000 ISB. I have read that the exhaust manifold can warp over time and once the head is removed it would be economical to check that also.

I can't comment on the cost of replacement (the time required is quite installation specific), but be certain that the individual who does the replacement thoroughly checks the block deck and the head deck for warpage. If these surfaces are warped, you'll be replacing the head gasket again before too long.

I had mine done at 115,000 miles. The total cost was around $3,000.

Make sure they adjust the valves when they do it as Cummings says it should be done around that many miles.
