The Hazard lights and the brake lights on my '04 Vectra quit working. Turn signals and tailights work fine.
No audible 'click' when Hazard switch is on.
Center brake light bar works as it should, but the right & left brake/tail/signal lights are dead when brakes are applied, but they work as taillights and as turn signals.
Can anyone give me a clue where I might find a breaker or a fuse that controls this circuit?
Thanks.

Well, I made some progress. I opened up the fuse panel and found all kinds of goodies hiding back there, including the hazard and turn signal flashers. The Hazard flasher had been sitting in some rainwater trapped back there and had gotten corroded.
Replaced the flasher and the hazards work! Brake lights still a prob, tho.
BTW, does anyone know where I can find the diodes for the brake light circuit? F-liner said to look inside steering column, bujt no joy. They also said they were 6" long! Seems pretty big for a diode, no?

Wherer is the fuse panel you are speaking of? I've looked for it in hopes of changing out the flasher but haven't located it. Thanks for your response.

Cliff,he's in the first compartment on the driver's side....Behind the fuse panel,(remove the screws) is where you find a LOT of goodies.

Cliff,
If you open up the bay that is underneath the drivers side window, the only bay that is in front of the coach wheels, the bay is pretty much nothing but a breaker panel. And, as rebel has said, remove the two right hand screws, the top and bottom scres, on this panel and it will hinge open to the left. That's where the flashers are located, along with a bunch of other relays.
However, I still haven't found the diodes, fuses, or breakers for the brake lights.
