I am looking at a 1999 Bounder DP on the Freightliner chassis and was wondering what the life expectancy of the airbags is? Also, what is the average cost of airbag replacement?

Wild guess is $60 each plus labor to install. Life span depends if they deflate and get damaged as the springs pinch them (are these in springs or outside?). Maybe 5 years+

From my limited experience and a sample of one, it's at least 11 or 12 years since my 2000 HR on a 1999 Freightliner chassis is still going strong. I don't know about the cost to replace.
