Mmdc. / annunciator

I have a problem with my 2005 Fleetwood Bounder DP. When I turn the key to start the unit all the lights stay lit on the annunciator ( light bar ) but none of the gauges work. The unit starts and runs but lights stay on with no gauges. My MH has the MMDC unit which replaced the VDC in 2004. The MMDC is located on the firewall near driver left side in coach and has never been wet. Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I'd be tempted to call the Freightliner free help line and see if they produced a testing document for the MMDC; like the 54-12 document for the VDC system.

1-800-385-4357 have your chassis serial number handy.

We had a 2005 Diesel Bounder that had all dash gauges go completely out on the way south from Alaska to DE. The annunciator panel looked like a pinball machine with lights flashing. It happened north of Whitehorse, Yukon Territory, but the coach continued to run. We kept it running and after finding that the Freightliner facility in Whitehorse couldn't do a thing for us, called the Freightliner help line. They said the only place to get help was Red Deer, Alberta, 1300+ miles away. They said it should start if we shut it down but if it didn't to park on a slope and let it drift forward a few feet to reposition a sensor and it should start. We did this and traveled the 1300 miles to Red Deer without a problem on any start. In Red Deer they went into the right rear compartment where the spare tire could be kept and found one of the canon plugs on the 2 black boxes (I think the MMDC) had 3 or so pins that had moved and lost contact. It took them about an hour to get us back on the road. Repair was under warranty, so I have no clue on the repair cost.
Good luck getting it fixed.
