New Shocks. "Well Worth It"

Have a 2004 Fleetwood Revolution 40ft. I have 60k miles on it.
I bought it a few months ago and wasn't pleased with the ride.

I just replaced the front and rear shocks with KONI shocks.

What difference. Well worth the money.

Just thought I would share.

SACHS. They appear to be the original shocks.

Wish I could tell you.
I had them ordered and installed by a local RV Service Center while I was getting other maintenance done.

I will call them Monday and find out where they got them.

To answer your question. The service center went straight to KONI to get the shocks. www.koni.com.

Take Care

I put the Koni's on my 05 Southwind and have not regretted it.
Originals were Bilsteins and the ride was terrible.

Yep, replaced my Sachs with Koni FSD's a couple years back. Big improvement.

Now for the icing on the cake, add a set of SuperSteer Motion Control Units to your air bag air lines, and you will swear you're in a new coach!

I just looked these SuperSteer motion controllers up.

I may need to get them. Thanks for the advise.

I installed the Koni adjustable shocks to the steer axle on my 42ftr and they were well worth the price. Bilsteins were on mine originally.

Muffin, I haven't looked but should I assume on my fleetwood that I have a steer axle shock from the factory?

How does one identify the Shock Mfgr?

I have a 2008 Providence. Now that I have replaced the front tires the ride is much better. Looking at the shocks, they are yellow on the bottom and a black cylinder on the top. I do not see any identification. Perhaps there might be some under the accumulation on the black cylinder.
