FCCC, welcome to iRV2. I'm glad to see your organization taking an active role in this forum. I think it will be beneficial to those of us who travel on your chassis, as well as FCCC.

Glad to have Freightliner here with us. Hopefully they will be active in answering some of our frustrating problems with repairs and parts availability.

First, welcome FCC. I'm glad that you've signed up.
Actually, they already do take questions. I cannot tell you how many times I've called them. Some of their techs (Marcus) and I have spent a lot of quality time on the phone guiding me through several problems. I've been extremely pleased with how knowledgeable they are.
I've also had great luck ordering parts through Gaffney, too. I know that there are some parts that are no longer available for our MH and am hoping that none of those originals break.
For the zerk in the steering column, I have a solution but it might not be the correct one. I figure out what position the wheel has to be in to reach the zerk and simply turn it there. I'm fortunate to have a driver's door so I can go right at it from there. If I didn't have one, I admit that I'd be lying on my back with a strong light trying to figure out the right approach angle. Once you get that, getting on the zerk is pretty easy.

Having a Freightliner chassis, it's nice to have them here.
I to have found that by calling Gafney, you get good answers to your questions with willing people to help you.
Thanks Freightliner.

The XCR chassis on our 2008 Tuscany is great. Looking forward to a trip to Gaffney one day for maintenance and Camp Freightliner. Scheduling around work is a real issue at times. Can't wait to be on our own schedule instead of others. Nice to know we can get support when we need it.
