Today I discovered that the rear axle vent system is missing, the fitting worked loose and went missing during our last trip. Does anyone know what the vent consisted of? I know that some axle vents have one end of a hose attached to the axle and the other end attached to the frame. I didn't notice what was there the last time that I check the oil level in the axle. It is a 1997 Freightliner chassis carrying a National RV Tradewinds coach.

If you are registered on "Access Freightliner" you should be able to pull up a call-out that will detail what all the parts look like. Give that a try and see if it works for you.

I have tried to register with "Access Freightliner" multiple times over the last three years to no avail.

I had some work done at a Freightliner shop this fall and their records still showed the previous owner as present owner. They said that they entered my name as the present owner. I should try registering with "Access Freightliner" once more, it might work now.
