Since Freightliner gave up the M1 service schedule, what is the mileage interval for serviceing the chasis now. I used to grease every 6000 and change oil at 11000.

The word I got straight from Freightliner Gafney was to use the schedule in the manual that came with your coach. Not a later version.

On my 08 Tour I had a Freightliner Oasis dealer do a IM six months after I bought the coach. They said they had never had someone come in and ask for one. They had to copy my manual for the information on what was to be done. I had an M1 done in June and intend to continue following the freightliner manual to keep my warranty in force.

Same here, but I got surprised recently when I checked my Cummins manual and learned that I only had to change the oil every 12mos/15K. I for three years I had been getting oil changes every 6 mos and didn't need to.

In my opinion, chassis lube and oil change is some of the cheapest insurance you can buy..... why not continue to use the same frequency you have been using?
