I've had both and (I think) the Koni's do a better job. Just my opinion. But I put the Bilsteins on a Safari and the Koni's on a XC chassis so not a fair comparison.

I took the bilsteins off a new rig at 700 miles. Couldn't stand the ride. Put on konis and it was a whole new ride. Gave the bilsteins away as I couldn't charge anybody for junk like that.

When I had my 2002 Journey on XC I replaced the Bilsteins with FSD's and was pleased with the results. Now, if you really want to improve overall handling/cornering of the coach, consider installing the Hendersons motion control units on the lines to each air bag. The difference was pretty astounding.

Where do Sachs shocks fit into the picture. They came on ours and with 26k miles they seem to perform quite well. Just curious.
