SuperSteer Trim Unit

Has anyone installed the Supersteer Trim Unit on their FL chassis?

The boys and I tried today (see below) and had some problems with the bracket.


You see the bracket on the right of the assembly below was close to the shock aborber bracket end and the actuator (black) could not be mounted on the flang.


I'm going to call them tomorrow but thought someone may have overcome this issue already.

Spoke to John at Henderson Supersteer and Marcus at FCCC. Looks like Supersteer's Trim Unit bracket will not fit on my 2006 chassis.

Now time to investigate Blue Ox's TruCenter...

What a bummer. That trim kit is on my things to do list.

I just ordered the Blue Ox Trucenter so hopefully that will fit.

If your FCCC chassis shock bracket looks like this (side support on inside of shock), SuperSteers Trim Unit bracket will not fit.

You will not be disappointed in the Tru Center. Having the ability to re-adjust the center on the fly is a great feature.
