Hello to all,

I have a '98 NRV Tradewinds on a Freightliner chassis and have a question about the temperature guage. The guage doesn't have numbers on it - it just has indicators for the operating range with the word "Normal" written in-between. Does anyone know how to relate this to an actual temperature? I can get a pretty good fluctuation from flat ground to going up mountains and I was wondering how to interpret what the actual temp is on this guage.

Thx
Kerry

Or you can buy a Silverleaf monitor system read out by your laptop. My 2000 Freightliner temp gauge is very poor but the temp from the ECM is precise or at least it doesn't wander and is consistent. The other dash gauges seem quite good.
