I would like to take this opporunity to thank Cher, Freightliner Customer Service for her quick response to a claim I had submitted. In a nutshell, while in traveling the Canadian Maritimes, I experienced severe front end vibration which resulted in having the front end aligned twice and replacing the front tires.
The service I received while in Canada was outstanding and it continued on to Gaffney where it was resolved. One phone call from Cher, requesting copies of my invoices, resulted in full payment under warranty.
I wish others would take a look at how Freightliner treats their customers, perhaps they could learn the meaning of Customer Service.
Fournately, other than needing two tires, there was no damage to the front end.
Next time I am in Gaffney, I will personally thank Cher.

I second you praise of Freightliner customer service. They are one of the best I have ever dealt with. There are various business plans out there ranging from blowing the customer off to doing much more than required. My now out of warranty XCS chassis DP receives all the attention of a new chassis. Now the help is just information which I greatly appreciate. Under warranty they were excellent in fixing some initial problems.

I could not agree more with both posters. I have found them to be above and beyond whenever I have needed help or had a question. I guess that is why I am on my second Freightliner chassis. Always nice to hear good things for a change.
