The bells are ringin' for me......

I know there is a certain sequence for starting out. On my Holiday Rambler the selection seems to be random to keep the bells from ringing.
Disengage air brake (push yellow knob down)
Select D to move forward.
Bell ringing

Select D
Push yellow knob down
move forward.

It does not seem to matter which way I do it. Sometimes it will not ring and sometimes it will. The bell also comes on trucking down the road. I have to stop. Engage brake and do one of the sequence or the other.

The air pressure is up. The antenna is down. The jacks are up.
This is after a 7,000 mile road trip around the country. It did it at the start and still does it.
I figure that the trans is not getting the signal that the parking brake is disengaged but why does it do it when the coach is on motion?

Any guesses/help?
Thanks
Chet

The bells are ringin..

I had a similar problem, the bells were ringin all the time. It was a defective parking brake switch,to proof it you could short the 2 wires on the switch to stop the ringin.
My MH is an 05 Newmar Kountry Star with a Freightliner chassis,330 Cat.
