Recently, the wiring harness that serves the tow vehicle no longer delivers a signal to the left side, no brake light, no turn signal on the left side of the tow vehicle. The problem is in the motor home though, not the vehicle.

At first, I thought that the wiring that goes to the toad came off of the motor home tail lights. But it seems that there is a separate wiring harness dedicated for the toad. So one of these wires in the harness is dead. Where is the other end of this wiring harness? Is there a fuse to check? Where would that fuse be? Anything else anyone can think of?

Thanks very much!

I had this problem last year. Found the fuse box for the 7 pin and all fuses were good.

Next I pulled the cap off the wire going to the MoHo. Looking at it everything looked fine. However, I used a screw driver to check the screws and found the screw controlling the left side lights for the toad was loose. Tightened it and all was good.

BTW welcome to the iRV2 forum. You might want to let everyone know what year, make and model of your Moho. Will be easier for a response from those with like vehicle.

If yours is a Winny Product, Inside the electric compartment there is a false wall and behind that wall are the fuses for your trailer hitch.

OK, got the answer from the horse's mouth, Freightliner tech support 24 hr service. Man am I impressed. I called the 800 number on Sunday. Got a message that said to leave a message. I expected that meant they would get back to me later this week or so. 5 minutes later they called. The fuse is located in the bin with the inverter in a 4"x4" box with a written "2" on it. I went out, there it was. I pulled the left turn fuse and sure enough it was a gonner. That was just too easy. Thanks very much Freightliner. That is how you keep folks happy and buying your product.
