I have a 2000 Holiday Rambler Endeavour 40' Cat. Anybody know where abouts the V.D.C is located?

The VDC location depends on the motorhome manufacturer, It should be near the engine, on some it is under the bed on a bulkhead or crossmember, some have a heat shield cover, On my GeorgieBoy -XCS Chassis it is in the rear compartment on the passenger side. A search of IRV2 turned up this discussion which may help. Air problem, location of VDC?

There is a known problem with cold solder connections on some VDC's around 2000, and SmlRanger has a article on the repair..
Hope this helps..

ON my Spartan Mountain Master chassis it is located on a cross frame member just behind the front mounted generator. So, it's not necessarily close to the engine.

I found it, last compartment on passenger side has a black cover on top side of compartment right above my inverter/charger. Now what the heck do I do with it and how do I know if it's the problem?

Why were you looking for it???

Now that I got the smart aleck out of my system-----The VDC can cause problems with the gages or speedometer, usually related to dirty connections. Cleaning the connectors may help prevent or relieve those problems. There is also a discussion of repair to cold solder connections on some VDC's built in 99-2000 era. The link in my previous post may help.
In my case, the speedometer was erratic, dropped to zero with no other symptoms. It would return to normal each time after shutting down for several minutes. (rest stop) and would reappear after a few months. I removed the connectors, cleaned with electonic cleaner, applied dielectic paste and have not had a problem for 3+ years......Use caution, if you bend the pins or break the connectors they are not easy to replace...Hope this helps.
Post your symptoms here, someone may have more insight...

Would a fuse-able link be the cause of gage's not working, my starter solenoid went and I had to replace it during that time that it wasn't working is when the gages stopped working. Someone mentioned it could be a fuse able link that comes off of the solenoid!
