Laj: I apologize for being abrupt.
I as others agree fuel and air filters are the most likely problem all I was saying
was to look at the exhaust brake to see if it was all the way open. If you look at
my post I did not say it was stuck closed. I had the same type of problem and
found it was not opening all the way. It is something easy to check cost nothing
and could be the problem.

Absolutely agree with you, fuel filter easiest and cheapest to check and correct.
Also most likely culprit.
I didn't think you abrupt at all! Hope to meet you camping one day
Love our cats

It could also be an induction system air hose and or clamp that has let loose between the turbo compessor and the engine?

I'd take it to the nearest dealer be it CAT or Freightliner. Freightliner has technicians in-house that work on all types of diesel engines, and are certified for the engine they work on.

With this low sulphur fuel you might have a algae problem if the MH has sat for a while. Change the fuel filters and if it's better get some algae killer and keep changing your filters till you get it worked out. Then hammer down and blow smoke.

I made 20 phone calls to find a mobile truck service to come to me.

they replaced the fuel fitters and said they could tell there was water in them

I did stop and get gas at a place that does not sell a lot of gas

I plan on replacing them both again every years

on the road again priceless

It's a good idea to use a diesel fuel concentrate that improves water and diesel separation. That way you can drain out more of the water from the separator filter and save your downline filters. I know AMSOIL makes the additive and will improve mpg. Keep spare filters on hand and learn how to replace them.
