I found that I have all the wiring harnesses under my dash (DP) for a Freightliner Smart Wheel, but can't find a part numer, or one anywhere on the web. Anyone know a source and possible price?

Give the Freightliner Help Desk a call at 800-385-4357. Have the last 6 digits of your VIN# ready and they can probably help you.

Is the Freightliner Smartwheel any different than a Cummins Smartwheel?? You can check with NorthWest RV Supply ...they had a ton of them in stock earlier at a great price.

Good Luck

Thanks! These were the parts I was looking for, Smart Wheel, Harness, and Module. Prices are pretty good too.

The link to NorthWest RV Supply will have the SmartWheel stuff you need for pricing..and I do believe the price there will be one of the best....if not the best anywhere else.
I cannot answer about Freightliner already being wired for it though. You may have to call the manufacturer Tech Support with your Coach/VIN number to check on your specific coach.

I know many of us with the Smart Wheel are glad we have it. Good Luck

I love my smart wheel. Cruise and wipers being at finger tips make all the difference. Now if they would only make one with the engine break on it. I see the new ones have the radio functions built it. My radio is in a separate remote strapped to the wheel. Let's us know what kind you get and from where. I am interested in how you hook it up also.

You could always automate your engine brake with the BrakeSwitch. I love mine. Very simple to install.

No need to pay for something to do that, at least if you have a CAT engine. The engine brake is set in manual mode from the maufacturer but the are 3 settings for the brake. A CAT dealer changed mine for no charge to the Latch mode which is the same as the Brake Switch. It is about a 30 second job done by pc.

I agree the smart wheels are nice and are on my someday list.
