Getting no brake, turn signal or emg. flasher for the right side at the hitch socket. The right brake light on the motor home works fine but nothing at the hitch socket. I assume the wire for the hitch taps into the motor home wire at some point but where and what wire. Can I get wiring info from Frieghtliner.
Thanks,
Roger

Chances are it's a blown fuse. My fuses are located in the electrical compartment where the shore line cord is located, behind a metal plate.

I had a similar symptom when I added the tow bar to ours and it turned out to be the 3-2 converter box. Most MHs have separate turn signals and stop lamps and the converter box adds them together to pump them into the 4 wire toad cable. The box is simply diodes and one or more of the diodes in mine were blown. Tracing the wiring back from the toad pigtail might help you easily find it. Mine is about a foot and a half from that pigtail, tied to the upper part of the hitch frame.

I looked in the electrical compartment box at the list of fuses on the cover and couldn't find anything that related to the stop or turn sig. Also couldn't find anything that looked like the referenced converter box at the rear of the coach. The wire bundle from the hitch receptacle Y's into the main bundle from the front of the coach. There is also a smaller branch that comes off the main bundle and goes up to the right tail light of the motor home. I assume it continues across to the left tail light up high under the rear cap because I don't see anything going across at the bottom to the left side. I've requested diagrams from Fleetwood and applied to Freightliner for access to their support system. Hope something comes from that. Thanks to all for the help so far.

I received a personal e-mail from a member of this forum named Mike. He has a similar coach to mine and said to check a fuse block located in the compartment behind the right rear wheels where the ECM is located. Sure enough there were two blocks one of which contained the left and right turn signal fuses. The right one was burned and now the problem is solved. My thanks go out to Mike for saving me a lot of time tracing wires. Thanks also to everyone else for their input. What a great place this forum is for sharing information.

Glad you found the problem. I am having an intermittent problem with my right turn signal on our 2004 36G Journey which I can not seem to be able to repair. The fuse box location is a great clue and I think I’ll go there to see if I am having oxidation issues. SteveG
