XC Rear rad replacement

I have a Damon Ultrasport 2000 DP with a Cummins and rear Radiator on a XC chassis . Due to corrosion of the radiator fins when it came to cleaning the core (outside) inside is very clean We decided that it needed replacing I haven't been able to get it re-cored in UK It has the plastic tanks.
I have found this on ebay USA
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-Radia...53.m1438.l2649
It says it will fit VAB 1003485 (which is one of stickers on my Rad carrier) . Has anyone fitted or used one of these all aluminium radiators , as I am looking at importing to UK ?

Canít help you with the radiator but what did you use to clean the radiator with that caused that much corrosion?

The radiator, and CAC were both quite blocked with road dirt , probably never been cleaned from new . We decided in view of corrosion elsewhere on the core , and the fun getting it all out , that a re-core would be best route .
In UK in winter when drops below freezing they spread a mix of grit and rocksalt on the roads to stop ice forming , this has quite a deleterious effect on metal of vehicles that isn't wax coated etc . The vehicle had been to beach areas in Spain , Portugal and even Morocco before I bought it so there was quite a lot blown up thru radiators.

I also canít help you with the Rad question, but you might try posting this on the Damon Forum under Thor Industries in the Owners Section. As you probably know, Damon was one if the early brands to get absorbed into Thor and you might get more knowledgeable responses from those folks.

Radiator on the XC Chassis would be a Freightliner part.- Freightliner has a help line and they are usually very good with information on parts and maintenance. 1-800 FTL HELP (800-385-4357)
