Hey NH owners! Where are you now?

I currently own a Leisure Travel Vans Unity that I will be selling right before my NH Majestic is finished in April. I live in the rig. LTV has a very active owners and enthusiasts group on FB. All very upbeat and helpful people. No trolling or negativity or political talk. A pleasure to be a part of. LTV builds a quality product so there aren't a ton of complaints like in some other brands owners groups. I don't imagine there would be a bunch of complaints here about NH products either.

I just wish this group here were more active. Any ideas about how we, as a group, can make this happen?

A way to start this is talking about where we are currently (as much detail as you are willing to give) and maybe some of your favorite places you've camped in your NH rig.

I currently am in transit from FL to AZ. Have made it to Louisiana so far. Tomorrow I will be in Texas. Has anyone here stayed in Cajun Palms RV Resort?

I hope some other owners will join me here and start talking.

We've ordered our New Horizons Majestic Motomover

Well, we don't have ours yet - but it should be completed by the early part of June. We are getting so very excited.

We are focused on getting the house ready to sell and getting rid of JUNK! Hopefully we'll be ready to go on the market at the beginning of April.

We are planning to go to the RV-Dreams Fall Rally and will be spending some time in South Dakota this summer to get our residency established there. Otherwise the plans are pretty much up in the air until we get the house sold.

Can't wait to meet some fellow New Horizons owners out there on the road!

Thanks, Jennie, for replying. Still mostly crickets. I am going to the NH rally so maybe meeting people there will help. It's a shame there is this venue and limited usage.

I wish it was more active too

I was debating about going to the NHOG rally, but it is essentially at the same time as the RV-Dreams rally and we couldn't do both. The RV-Dreams Rally will be well attended and there just isn't very much activity over here in the NHOG forum - so we opted for the RV-Dreams rally.

I do wish there was a bit more activity over here.

Make sure you give yourself a week or more when you pick up your Rig at NH. Take your time and make sure everything is right to your satisfaction and make sure you take the time to understand everything, we picked up our Majestic 43' at this time last year. We had a very good experience and left with a great rig.

Bcarr,
Thank you. I will take your advice.

Thanks

BCarr, thanks for the advice. We plan to do just what you suggest. I love how NH takes their delivery process seriously. It is clear they want the customer to understand how everything works.

We are so excited. I think Drew will be very glad when we take delivery so we will stop bugging him. Ha ha

Step one is complete. We've picked up our new truck. Freightliner M2 106 by SportChassis. We are driving it home.

Cajun Palms is a great park. It has shelters, buddy/family spots. Very well laid out. We were there in January so not all the attractions were not open. The restaurant on why next to park is very good. I had crawfish. It is a big place with level concrete pads

Cajun Palms was nice. I definitely added it to my "should go back and spend more than an overnight there" list.

Svaya,

First off welcome to the NH family. My wife and I have been living in our NH for four years now. Right now we are in Texas but will be heading out this weekend for Navada, California, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana on our way to the Rally. Can't wait to meet you there.

Your right this site is not used alot by the owners and I think only a few of us even check it. A reasons for this, I think, is most of the owner communicate via Facebook. My feeling and mine alone is when you use this platform for communication it can sometimes turn into a bash session from people outside of NH and we're enjoying ourselves to much for all that.

I know you are going to enjoy the Rally and meet a great group of people. Alot of us meet up through out the year while we're travalling if we are in the same area.

See you in Sept.

We will be picking up our 43' Majestic in July. And I'm sure you're right about the phone calls and Emails. I've been working with Cole and bugging the daylights out of him. We're just so ready to get out of our Mobile Suites and into our new home! We're taking two weeks to travel out from the DC area to pick it up. Please post how your delivery process went.
