Room for price negotiation?

I bought my first NH in 1998. Spectacular rig, better quality (though less flashy) than most and priced approx 25% cheaper than MSRP of comparable rigs on the road. NH has made great improvements, but the price is higher than comparable rigs (if there are comparable ones out there). Has anyone found that there was room for negotiation of price for NH or is the work up price final? Thanks!

I just got off the phone with them, and the salesman alluded to some level of discount off of MSRP. Not sure how much is available tho.

There are a couple discounts they toss out but I think it is mainly because RV consumers feel it's a norm to get discounts off of a MSRP. But don't expect your pricing experience to be like at other dealers around the country.
From what I gathered there may have been more negotiating going on before the new GM took tighter control.

Thanks HDrider! My initial premise that there was 'some' wiggle was that in the past factory-direct pricing was offered that allowed plenty of well-deserved profit margin, so there was no real negotiation at all. The new CEO came from Peterson who made the Excel line (well regarded rigs). I'm making an assumption (might not be valid) that the new model is to offer true MSRP pricing and allow standard negotiating to determine what profit margin per individual sale that NH was willing to accept/give up.

Appreciate your response and congrats on your new order. Cheers!
