TV Lift

So far we have planned to not have the living room tv on a lift and eliminate the window behind it BUT Diane is starting to think that having a little extra airflow might not be a bad idea and is now thinking about doing the TV on the lift and having the window.
So, how many problems have those of you with the lift had?

I enjoy TV so it be up all the time. Sort of makes it pointless for us. Its nice to have if you entertain as you can set up a buffet when the TV is down.

Drinks for 6, dinner for 4, and sleeping for 2

I can't imagine NOT having the window behind the tv. We only raise the tv in the evenings and the rest of the time we have a BIG window that brightens up the living room, not to mention enjoy the view. We had them make the window as large as possible. Go into a DRV with no kitchen window and no side window. Much darker interior.
