We picked up a 26 inch Vizio LED model #M260VA last year the Monday after Thanksgiving for $189 at Target. We modified the front TV area over the dash for this and have absolutely loved it. One thing we liked about this tv is that the speakers are at the lower front area of the tv and face you as you watch it. Great quality audio with this model as well. We also put a smaller one (I think it's a 19 inch.) Vizio in the bedroom of the coach. I'm now looking for a 37" LED from Vizio to put in the front basement compartment for outdoor viewing.

I used a Sony 32" in our previous coach and have mounted Coby 32" and 26" in the current coach. the Sony was an LCD, the Coby's are both LED/LCD. DO NOT install a Plasma.. it will not stand up to rough roads and doesn't stand up to temp changes.

I have found that in every store I've been able to see multiple brands of TV's the one brand that to me has the best picture is Samsung. I've had them at home and now in my 5th wheel. I've had no trouble with them and the picture is fabulous but again people's tastes differ.

I recommend AGAINST LG.

I have either owned or sold hundreds of LG items.

The computer monitors they made for Commodore had the highest return under warranty rate of any product in the store.. Around half of them came back.

The microwave the office bought.. Set fire to the office (As it was designed to do)

The VCR in my motor home.. Was replaced by a Panasonic cause the LG made Zenith was junk, and later replaced by a DVR.

The microwave (Dometic) had to be re-designed and one LG part replaced with a GE part, works good now.

The Digital TV converter in front of me freezes if I don't change channels every so often forcing me to unplug and re-plug it.

No, Don't buy LG.

We have had a 26" LG LED/LCD in our MH for the past 9 months and have been very pleased with it. There are only a limited number of 26" LED/LCD sets and the performance and picture of the LG, IMHO, was substantially better than the Vizio which is the principal competition.

Ricky: We have a 26" Samsung in our 2010 unit and are very happy with it. NH mounted it for us on a heavy duty arm that extends out so we can access the connections on the back and also adjust it for viewing. Since the wall mounts don't have sturdy, dependable locks on then, they mounted two straps to the wall behind the TV which we use to hold the TV in place while traveling. The straps to not take any of the weight of the TV, but only prevent it from accidentally extending out. In our 2006 NH we installed a 19" flat screen in the hole for the tube TV by using the base that came with the TV and then mounting a board on the back where it would have been secured to a wall mount. The board extended up and had the center speaker mounted on it just above the TV (where it should be). A separate block was place at the top on the back of upright board - large enough and tight enough to prevent the unit from tipping, but still allowing it to be maneuvered and removed if necessary. That also worked very well and meant we didn't have to remove the TV and put it on the bed every time we were traveling.
