Visiting Hew Horizons
Nancy and I are finally making the trek to New Horizons in Junction City, next week! We'll be there for 2 days. We're excited. Any words of wisdom you'd like to offer?

Danny -
One of the first things, get Cole to explain the new customer interface on their website. Oh, and look all through their website before you arrive - especially the picture at the bottom of the Majestic page! At the Ambassadors' Days meeting last week, Bryan and their marketing consultant showed and described the new website and how it communicates with the new customer. The lines of communication to the new customer have not only been improved but widened. The communication within the different New Horizons' groups and administration has been totally improved. I understand that the communication between New Horizons and their Ambassadors and present customers will soon be included on the website.
Take time in the frame shop and see the difference between the frame New Horizons builds and the Lippert frames used on other RVs (Spacecraft not included there). Examine how the utilities are installed inside the frame before the flooring is applied - even to the point of lashing a heat duct to the fresh water supply/withdraw line to the water tank. All along the line, notice how solid the RV feels. Ask to talk with Ken and have him explain the 2 year warranty and how repairs work. And anything else I think of once I post this.
Just my two cents,
Ron

Greetings! We are also new owners, scheduled to pick up our S35IK3S about 2 weeks from now! Wondering what overnight hookups are available on the property, as we plan to arrive a few days early. Also, any advice?
Thanks!
Brian and Carol

There are several spots around the building that have either 30 or 50 amp service and water. There is a dump station behind the service building. Avoid parking in front of the big doors if you can because they need to get in and out of the building. They have a guest WiFi available. There is also a nice waiting room inside.
Enjoy your visit.

Tour and speaking with owners, both are good to do!
Of your two day visit, one day take the factory tour and speak with a sales person. The other day, speak with individuals in the waiting room or otherwise at the factory, picking up their RV and having warranty work done. Both are important conversations to have.

I agree. Purchasing your new home is a big decision. Speaking with those who are here taking delivery as well as those here for service is a great way to get beyond our sales presentation and make sure you're comfortable with joining the NH family.

If Bryan doesn't mind, I would like to add . . .
Ask Bryan, Cole, or Drew the name and contact information for any of us Ambassadors. I do believe that any of the Ambassadors would be happy to discuss our units and experiences with you - good, bad, and resolved. Speaking for myself, I think I have talked to at least 10 potential New Horizons customers (most now customers) in the past 15 months. Talk to those who have owned other brand fifth wheels and ask "Why the New Horizons decision?"
Just my two cents,
Ron

Thanks, Ron. We've been fortunate to have 2 different sets of owners (one official Ambassador) host us in their coaches, while in CDA, Idaho, answering all sorts of questions and offering advice (both solicited and not). They've also been great about follow up comments and questions over the last year.

I can't believe that it's taken this long to see that I misspelled New Horizons in the title and appears to be no way to edit that. sorry.
Thanks for everyone's suggestions for our visit!
